Gentle September Rainfall...

A Glimpse at Padden
As gentle rains were falling
Much needed cleansing

We headed up early to Bellingham and there was some much needed rainsfall happening to clear up some of the smoke from the nearby fires and cool down the temps.  We bought some beans and peppers at the Saturday market and then visited for a tiny bit with our friend P.  Left then for home and to lend some phone support to another dear Ohio friend. who is struggling from the loss of her husband and health issues of her 103 yr old moms as well as some of her own.  Life hasn't been an easy road for her.
     This is a view looking onto Lake Padden...a gem of a  lake that never fails to delight us both! 
      Worried for the victims of Irma and what lies ahead as the hurricane reeks more and more destruction.
