Kissing Gate Cottage

Marshfield

To Marshfield on the edge of the Cotswolds for Sunday lunch today. With time to spare, and before the rain arrived, we went for a walk around the historic wool village, but the miserable wet and windy weather put paid to plans for a later walk around Dyrham Park. So after lunch it was back to the house to curl up with the Sunday papers, and to put the heating on!

Trying to find some background info on this 18th century cottage, that sits next to the village church besides a kissing gate, I discovered that it's now a holiday cottage. If you'd like to have a nosey inside, here's a link: http://www.kissinggatecottage.co.uk/index.html

And if you'd like to see the cottage from a different angle, here's my blip from January: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2268842078622449966
