Greek law tablets

Today we visited a site in Gortys that contains the "law of Cortyn", a long wall with a law inscripted in stone tablets, dating from about 450 before Christ. This law is very elaborate in describing laws regarding family law, property, misbehaviour and slaves. It was for everybody there to read in a public place. This is the oldest written law ever found in Europe. Very interesting!

Wer visited a couple of sites today as well as a nice a beach town that used to house many hippies who lived in existing caves, open to the public now. We didn't climb up to see them, we could well see them from a little distance.
