MY GARDEN...MONO MONDAY 190.

Just got back from Minehead had a great time the weather was mixed but we managed to doge the rain most of the time. It's lovely to be back in my own garden the birds are pleased because we've filled the birdfeeders up and the chickens are pleased to see us. My poem is from Rudyard Kipling, ‘The Glory of the Garden’. ‘Our England is a garden that is full of stately views, / Of borders, beds and shrubberies and lawns and avenues’. So begins this classic poem about English gardens from one of the most popular poets of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Kipling extols the virtue of hard work involved in cultivating a garden, rather than ‘sitting in the shade’.  Thank you to SK for hosting the mono Monday challenge . And thank you so much for all the kind words and heart for my Bee's knees on Thursday it put me onto the popular page. Enjoy the rest of the evening blippers.
