A wierd day.

My mobile beeped at 9am to remind me of a meeting. Not just a meeting...but I had to bake cake too!

Twice a year the Inner Wheel hosts a friendship club for local pensioners...we organise some entertainment, bake some goodies and make them tea. Its really enjoyable....but even more so if you actually remember youre doing it.

I put the note in my phone in May....and promptly forgot about it.

So, this morning was spent baking lemon & lime drizzle cake...then still warm it was bagged up and I dragged myself out to serve tea.

And as usual had a brilliant time.
