peace and quiet

I think we were the only car on the road that goes through the middle of the moor. The sheep seemed quite happy about that. Many of them had been marked with a red dye which was a bit unfortunate because it did rather look as if a massacre had just taken place!
Sadly we didn't see any ponies.
In some areas the heather was coming into bloom so the hills looked a lovely purple colour
