Life through the lens...

Red Admiral

I was hanging the washing out, when this lovely butterfly flew past and landed on the ivy for a rest.
A quick dash inside for my camera and managed to get a few closeup photos before it flew off.
As you can see the sun was very bright.
A bit of a breeze as well, and I managed to get all the washing dry.
Hoping the wind tonight doesn't blow the runner beans down as we picked another 10ozs for tonight's meal.

I really appreciate all your lovely comments hearts and stars for my poem yesterday.
I often wonder what my mum would think of Blip. She obviously liked taking photos when she was young. I know she had a box Brownie when I was little. I wonder if that is what she had back then.
