The Black Cuillins

Another great day touring this beautiful island and most of the time it was dry:-). We drove south to Armadale Castle and enjoyed a walk round the gardens and a visit to the museum.

We even spotted an otter just off the shore (see Extras, though it's a poor shot).  The castle remains were picturesque and there were lots of interesting extras too.

Following advice from a guide book, we made a detour on the way home to Ord on the opposite side of the peninsula from the castle.  What an exciting drive that was, with twists and turns all the way.  The reward was spectacular views over to the Black Cuillins, with rain coming in across the water.

Unfortunately the rain caught up with us and it was a very wet ending to a lovely day.

So sorry that I haven't managed to catch up with your blips, but I promise I will as soon as possible:-)
