Pussy Willow

The Pussy Willow tree is one of my favourites. It signifies spring for me. As a child I used to love the little soft furry buds before they burst out with fluffy stamens. There are a number of the trees growing along the banks of the river where Maisie and I were walking this morning. A real treat to see them.
