I have them everywhere, inside and out.  I have always loved them and played on huge boulders as a child by a nearby creek.  Hours and hours I entertained myself down by the creek and on the huge boulders.  I even dug up wild day lilies and planted them by our house when I was about 11 years old.  When I went back 4 years ago...miraculously, they were still there.
