Goldfinch (I think)

I'm feeling very good about all the work accomplished in the yard and gardens.  There were so many birds out while I was weeding, late this afternoon I went out with the camera on a tripod and they took off.  They slowly came back.  I think this is a female American Goldfinch, please correct me if I'm wrong.  I'm afraid everyone will have to look at birds shots this fall,  I'm thinking that will be my next project to work on.  You were all so kind as I worked on the macros.
