scrumping!

there are several apple trees at school and nobody picks the fruit except for me!
they were badly pruned several years ago so that all the branches now grow upwards taking the fruit with them- but an extendable decorators pole, with a pair of pliers on the end and a flower pot to catch the tugged off fruit, prove to be the ideal picking tool!!
tonight i am 'home alone' as i'm taking a 4 day sailing trip tomorrow, so my wife has gone to look after fil, so that mil can go the dartmouth to enjoy a break in sil's glorious holiday flat which overlooks the harbour - confused?!
