It's John the Baptist this week, cast in bronze by Rodin in 1879-80. Apparently a few less than kind critics claimed he'd used a live model to cast The Age of Bronze so, for John, he showed them all by making it larger than life size. That shut them up. It seems he actually WAS that good.

This is in the sculpture hall at the V&A. And I'm quite pleased to get someone in shot. It always gives the image a little something extra, I think.
