Final day

This is my wife, Dorothy, enjoying one final stroll along the seafront at Santa Monica before heading for the airport for our flight home.

It has been a magical break in California, Nevada and Arizona. We saw our daughter get married, we've visited some amazing places and we've had another taste of life on the road USA-style.

Our daughter's wedding will always be a precious memory, but so too will the kindness and friendliness of the many Americans we met on our travels. The country itself might be going through strange times, but there are still many wonderful people the other side of the pond.
