Tartine Tonight

A tartine is a type of French open sandwich. We particularly enjoyed the ones with sardines which we had in France last week, so this evening I'm having a go at doing it myself. I've made a brioche loaf, a slice of which will form the base, then it's melted mozzarella on top, followed by a slice of beef tomato, then the sardines and finally a scattering of oregano (for which I will substitute winter savoury, as I really like the taste). Simple stuff, but should be quite tasty.
