Old Lady (Mormo maura)

This was a truly beautiful moth that had inadvertently flown indoors. The blip doesn't do her justice as her wings had golden tinges and she sparkled in her dress.

A very busy 3 weeks has started: Senior Section, Scouts, Guides plus a Walking Team Meeting and a tutor meeting at school, so I'm out every evening. The District Night Hike followed by Peak Assault in Snowdonia are two big events coming up and everyone wants navigation training.

Today I did a bit of meeting prep and then went and did rope work practice with Jo who has her ML assessment coming up. I was proud to pass on a few tips.
