Dean Village

Edinburgh was our destination today and Mrs CBL and I decided that we would go and see some places in the city that we haven't visited previously.

We looked around the two museums of modern art where the coffee and treats were the highlight!

Then we walked the short distance to Dean Village. It is a tranquil green oasis on the Water of Leith and yet it is only five minutes walk away from Princes Street.

A late lunch in the city centre followed by a stroll through Princes Street Gardens ended a most enjoyable day.
