Nevern & Newport

We left Cardigan this morning having spent three days in the area enjoying all it has to offer. We stopped in the little hamlet of Nevern with its 10th churchyard and 12th century church and 500 year old bleeding yew and had a nice sunny stroll along the meandering river for a couple of hours.

On to Newport and we were blessed with beautiful views across the harbour into the bay. Blue skies all round. The lady in the tea room tried to tempt us to stay at her campsite with its six-and-a-half minutes power shower but we declined and have stopped at a Brit Stop pub car park with no shower!

Hoping to climb the Preseli hills tomorrow, weather permitting.
