Last evening

Tomorrow we fly home so today we decided to walk to one of our favourite beaches at the small village of Lefokastro. We arrived fairly and had two lazy swims. It's definitely an end of the season feeling around now. Then off to a very good taverna. While we were eating our Greek salad and fava (a bean dip) with small seaweed pieces on top we heard a Greek woman telling a couple who had just moored their rowing boat to a lamppost and a hoop to undo it. There was some confusion and her voice was raised as they failed to understand. The woman from our taverna intervened and they moved their boat a bit further down. It seems she didn't like them mooring outside her property. They commented later in the taverna that they had parked there for the past 20 years without a problem.

Anyway our last evening meal was at Afyssos and we arrived just after the sun had gone down. It was a lovely lady day and evening.
