Enjoying and learning

Over four days our Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust has organised a very ambitious event based on one of our six villages, Silverdale.
It covers the history, natural history and geology of the village and its surroundings.

There are 10 lectures, two major exhibitions, 18 guided walks and several family events. Several dozen people are involved in the organisation and everything is free.

I am going on four walks and the photo shows the people on my first one.
Tomorrow Mrs. K. Will be giving a lecture and leading a walk.

Its all very rewarding and lots of fun.
