Fruits of the season

Had some sad news first thing of the death of a friend of long ago, an old hostelling friend.   I seem to go to more funerals than weddings these days!

Took the bus down to Netherlee to have lunch with a friend, we had lunch and a good chinwag in the Derby Café, a southside institution, then came home via the railway station as I needed to buy a ticket for a trip next week.

Have been busy later in the day changing the living room around a bit, so much moving of 'stuff'.......

We had a very pleasant and sunny day, and I spied these apples as I walked home.
