They're back

I hadn't seen the cows for ages and assumed they'd been relocated but as Son2 and I were heading back towards the car following our lunchtime walk with the dogs there they were! Although it was nice to see them, we gave them a wide berth...just in case.

In other news, I received another qualification today! This one is the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Skills which I've been working towards alongside my PhD for the past six years. Just to blow my own trumpet one more time, the markers' comments on my last piece of work for it included, 'The best one of these I've marked' and (from the Big Boss) 'It could be used as an exemplar'. Not bad for an O level failure! :D
