Our cup overfloweth

Carl's birthday has been a day of good things:

Some might say the highlight was a lie-in and a day spent wandering around Denmark Street nerding out in all the guitar shops.

A fluffy one might think it was the lake swim and pot of sausages.

Others may think it is the Chelsea vs Arsenal tickets for him and Jackson for Sunday.

Others still the Boisdale Jazz lunch with his daughter the Sunday after.

Literally a couple may think it is the addition of bongos to the household...

For me, I am torn between sitting writing this with the backdrop of Jackson blasting out his latest creation on the piano...

...and discovering that W4 has a Speakeasy.

And so we celebrate another lovely birthday for Carlos. And a full week of school for J that has included two after school bouldering sessions.
