Hamburg Hafen

Am loving this place!
Cosmopolitan, old, new, clean with nice grubby, edgy ....
Went in midday, for a wander. As always the port is one of our main magnets along with our favourite Turkish on the Reeperbahn.
Lovely weather today, but I will visit and love this place in any weather.

Whilst waiting for the girls to finish playing "Shopping Queen" I was sitting outside a cafe with my tea and Franzbrötchen watching the world go by. As I was watching the street charity workers mug passers by, the mood was destroyed by two gentlemen, accompanied by guitar and bongo drum, who decided to open up with a bad rendition of La Bamba to the crowd of five sitting outside the cafe. They then had the cheek to ask for money. It was a very small plate so they must have been used to not receiving much. After receiving nothing but glares from the suddenly moody crowd, they packed up and ran off into the crowd almost knocking over the charity mugger.
