Work in progress

It's amazing what 5 elderly older senior women can do when they set their mind to it.

We had a working bee at OGH, and one of our number is a dab hand with the hedge shears.  At the beginning of the bee the two box bushes in the foreground were touching.  By the time she stopped you could actually walk through, and you can see the front door.  She didn't quite finish because her batteries went flat - actually not her batteries, she was still firing on all six, just the batteries of her electric hedge shears.

The Government Depart under whose jurisdiction we come also helped out by delivering a great pile of compost, 10 bales of pea straw, a 25 kg bag of gypsum, and an empty trailer to fill with all our rubbish.

It was a very good morning.  I'm going back up this arvo, and taking George with me.  The weather is simply perfect.
