Ru and I had a wee wander on the beach this afternoon. Where we tried to catch a pic of a Slavonian Grebe, at least I think that's what it was... the photographs showed a rapidly disappearing black blob.

Despite the elusive wildlife it was lovely on the beach. Last light of what has been a sunny day, very quiet with no wind. All we could hear was the sea tickling the rocks at our feet.

A friend was telling me today that the lochs are full of birds at the moment which she said was a sure sign of bad weather coming this way. I wonder...?
