The Law

Early this morning Mrs CBL and I ventured out to climb the heights and see the sights of North Berwick from an elevated viewpoint.

The Law is a conical hill (volcanic plug) that rises to 613ft (187m) above sea level and overlooks the town. From the top of the hill you get stunning views of the Firth of Forth and over to the Fife coastline.

An added attraction in recent years is the presence of Exmoor ponies grazing on the hillsides. They were introduced to the Law as a conservation measure helping to improve the quality of the grasslands (see extras).

This was the final highlight of a wonderful holiday. We head for home with lots of happy memories. Many thanks to those of you who have taken an interest in our adventures.
