Blue skies over Barton Street

The appearance of clouds got me excited today! Maybe, maybe finally some rain! The weather guessers say perhaps a little drizzle on Saturday, and then back to BORING old sunshine for a bit longer. This is really getting OLD.

October 1st is on Monday and we have not seen a really GOOD rain shower in Seattle in months now!

Pictured above is the Barton Street water tower, originally constructed back in 1926. According to the City of Seattle, it holds about 250,000 gallons of water. 86 years later and it still looks pretty much like it did when first constructed, except that the trees have now grown taller than the structure.
