Plymouth Seafood Festival

A chance for local fishermen to show off their catch, display some of the boats and chat to the public. Other complimentary stalls were also in the Barbican area with cookery demonstrations, food sales and tastings. The weather was kind today with warm sunshine. The collage includes a Monkfish which is not the prettiest of fish but only the tail is eaten and is particularly expensive. The extra  shows a couple of crabs which M bid for at auction - a good weight some 2.5 kilo. They are now in the process of being cooked.
