Neighbours

After a good night's sleep I was awake early, but my arms and legs were aching, so I lay in bed and didn't get up until about 9.30am.  It was a lovely morning, so after doing one wash load, we decided to go out and drove to Lewes.

We walked down the main street and up to the castle, then down into the town centre. As it was Sunday, not everything was open, but there was enough and we stopped at a cafe where we shared a panini and then wandered through one of the many antique shops, before going to Tesco to do a food shop.

On our way back we noticed these lovely cottages, that were actually in the middle of the main shopping area with Harveys Brewery behind them.  They're so pretty, and really not what you'd expect to see there.

Shopping done, we came home, Alan watched the F1 while I carried on with the wash loads, put the shopping away and made a Sunday roast.

It's been a nice day and I feel nice and organised, ready for work tomorrow.

Hope you've all had a good weekend!
