This is a meteor, apparently very high in copper which gives it the green glow. Photographed at 22.13 this evening.
Watching the weather finally paid off as tonight the stack yard has a neatly stacked pile of silage bales in it. Made in the dry too, which after the last six weeks or so of mostly damp weather, feels like a miracle.
This is Gribun old school, photographed from the top of a little knoll called an Sithean. I remember climbing it (we called it the fairy knoll) with my mum when I was small. Hadn't been up it since, but realised it would give a good view of the tin schoolhouse. As I changed my blip, this is now the extra.
