St Augustine of Canterbury, Birdbrook

Out and about today and I'd always wondered what Birdbrook was like, having passed the turning for it many times... It's a bit of a backwater just passed Sturmer, on the way to Colchester.

Seems like a quite well-to-do place and St Augustines is a very nicely appointed and well looked after church. Otherwise a quiet day getting ready for our short holiday in Dorset.
