No i didnt win anything

But had a lovely afternoon. We went to the Sherburn art club exhibition at Church Fenton. We were members a few years ago and it's lovely to go each year and catch up with old friends.
The standard of work was excellent as usual.

My friend Wendy still goes we have been friends for 65 years, first met when we were 11 at Crossgates secondary modern school and have been friends ever since although we don't see each other as much these days we still keep in touch. (I think I've given my age away)

Pity I didn't win the raffle as it was a painting of pen-i-ghent by a friend of mine, local professional artist Dave Newbould. It reminded me of the day I climbed it, one of my achievements.
