Fire in the Sky

Fraser has had a great weekend on tour with the County Under 25's to Northumberland being based in Newcastle and travelling out to play  their games.

The rest of the team are all in their late teens and early twenties and I worried a little how Fraser would get on when they were out for a party weekend but I need not have worried he was right int he thick of all the fun.

One of the senior players known as "Senga" is the life and soul of the team always up for fun but a stunning bowler.  When we were in the hotel on Saturday night we where chatting and he said something lovely, he said we are a bunch of guys who enjoy each others company, I said something like "and suffer Fraser" he put his glass down and said "we are more than a team were more like a family and Fraser is absolutely one of us"   

Fraser is accepted by them for how he plays but also despite being so much younger he is one of them and that makes such a difference knowing that they dont just suffer the "wee boy"

A great weekend but so so nice to be home and to a familiar and always beautiful view.
