Merrivale

Monday morning and after a couple of days off it was back to the gym! Later this afternoon I headed up to the moor. I hadn't set out to go this far west but but after screwing up my intended route I summoned up a Plan B and stopped at Merrivale Quarry. There had been a few showers on the way but by the time I arrived the rain had passed and I was treated to some nice evening light.

My blip is the little stone hut which I always think of as the Mess Hut and I think that's King's Tor behind. I've added some more to my Merrivale Quarry album including a few aerial shots.
