Trip to York to visit daughter and family

Before picking 9&7yo's up fom school - walked with A around Naburn Locks - thanks to ValC for recommending - these being old lock keepers houses - and along the river - then took refreshments at the Marina

Afterwards walked around the houses at Thornganby - another nearby village - discovering they had a book exchange scheme housed in an old telephone box and a delightful village church

Amazed to discover we'd walked six miles - it's easy going on the flat
