Convergence

Miserable day, cold, heavily overcast.....we rugged up and walked the cliff walkway.
This is Jack's Point, directly behind me is the lighthouse, and in front is the reef.  At low tide the reef is visible revealing rock pools - our little rural school (Salisbury School) used to take the kids here and they learnt so much finding all sorts of creatures etc in the rock pools.  Usually they got very wet, but loved the experience.  Further to that, our school principle would collect mussels, build a fire on the beach and heat them until they opened, then we ate them.  Now that wouldn't happen these days would it.  I was always happy to be a Mum help on these excursions.
We had to walk the beach of course, as the cliff top walkway wasn't built back then (1970's)

My entry for Wide Angle Wednesday, thanks Bobsblips
