Purple Haze

What else can you do on a thoroughly wet and increasingly windy afternoon but take a photograph of a carrot! The seed for this variety was given to me as part of a Christmas present. When pulled the outer skin is a deep purple while the inner is the normal carrot colour and it's just as tasty.
