Men At Work

We were up and away early while the weather was decent. Arrived at Glenridding by 10am  in time for a full English, then over Kirkstone Pass, a quick look round Grasmere garden village and then round the back of Thirlmere where a farmer and his helpers were walking a large flock of sheep the length of the lake and then over the dam. Some of the sheep were looking very tired and needed to be transported on the quad bike. It was a great sight watching the dogs working so hard to keep the sheep on the road and not letting them go back onto the hills.
We finished our day by taking the back roads to Castlerigg stone circle. Loads of people there.
