Monarch Cat

Found this guy in what's left of my milkweed patch today. The extra is a Monarch butterfly that we found on the road when we were walking this morning. It was sort of lurching around so I figured it had just emerged and needed a moment to rest somewhere safe and get its sh*t together. I moved it off the road and onto a patch of leafy weeds. I hope it's okay now and flying high! As you can perhaps see, it was a male.
