National Sculpture Society

This organization was formed in 1893.  Each year, winners of their annual competition are on display at Brookgreen Gardens, one of my favorite places to visit.  As a birthday gift last April, my son and family gave us memberships in at Brookgreen.  It was a treat to go there today.  One building housed sculptures of humans and another sculptures of animals.  The extra is another human as well as an incredible sculpture of an African elephant.  Both sculptures of the men were life-size and the elephant was about 8" tall, amazing details.
