A Bridge Only In Memory.

The geodesic bridge that spanned Leith Street was taken down during the night.

Connecting the St James Centre with the underground car park across the road, this bridge was added to the Brutalist concrete monstrosity that blighted the city centre skyline of Edinburgh for decades in a vain attempt to bring the eyesore into the new Millennium.

It wasn't even enclosed, so in the Winter you got soaked by the rain or snow blowing horizontally through it.
