Passing the Beacon

The rain stopped after two torrential days and we sailed off to Sherkin Island, passing Baltimore Beacon surrounded by some spectacular cloudage. We were in search of a well and adventures and it was the perfect day for it. The well was challenging to find, the scenery spectacular and the natives friendly - thank goodness Sean, who was changing duvet covers in his holiday home,  knew which direction it was in as the OS map was completely wrong. The well was almost completely hidden under a fuchsia bush but the views from it were jaw-dropping. A great day - we are now all pink and weather beaten.

And thank you for all the love for Fineen the Fox.
