Eastern Water Dragon

Went on a long walk down off the plateau into Govetts gorge. We took the Popes Glen path to Govetts leap, the descended steeply down of the cliff. After 4-5km of downhill we reached junction rock, a prominent end of spur point with great views of the surrounding cliffs. After a snack, we began climbing again, this time up towards the grand canyon. Charlotte took a swim at this point but I passed on the opportunity. The canyon was pretty damn impressive, with 50-150m vertical walls, and very cold at the bottom. We climbed up out of it and made our way straight to the bakery, priorities. Lots of birds and lizards, but sadly no snakes or spiders to report
