White and Black

Much of Queensland is suffering from drought so there was some excitement today as storms were forecast. Well, they've been and gone but it seems few areas had rain. Here in Brisbane there were gusty winds and a few rumbles only.

The City Botanic Gardens is kept irrigated and as a result, provides an oasis for even more birds and wildlife than usual. Here's a White Australian Ibis and a Dusky Moorhen at one of the pools.
