Life in a Northern Town.

Fire the Fajita!

Today I took 32 children and 7 adults on the train, and then on to Chiquito to make food and drink. I did not lose any children, or miss the train, or get cross or stressed, or melt in the rain. I also got to eat quite a lot of guacamole in the name of education, so wins all around!

Whilst I would love to show you the photo of A captured as he'd just bitten into a slice of lime, or K dressed as a Mexican whilst standing on a chair, or B with a very fetching stick on moustache, instead you will have to make do with this photo of the skillet being prepared for serving, which the children had to herald with a cry of "Fire the Fajita!"

If you are offered the opportunity to take your class to Chiquito for their Mexican morning, take them up on it. It's free, and brilliant!
