Old Haunts

Back Blip
We spent the morning exploring the villages of Ashover and of Bonsall, where Mike used to live.  Good to see that the shed he renovated and his garden were still going strong.  He was really enjoying himself, showing me his old haunts, the little tracks and lanes, the old cottages.  It is a really lovely place, but too far from the sea for a sailor!
 
We had a good walk to let Ollie get some proper exercise and fresh air.  He's very good in the van, and now he's older, 12 past, he doesn't want or need as much exercise as he used to, but it's good to give him the opportunity, and I need to stretch my legs regularly too!

A wild and windy night on Snake Pass!  The weather has definitely turned!
