Walking together

We passed this couple walking, with a little difficulty, on the Devon Way. As we passed them it was clear that they were enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

It was significant day for us, as we have paid off our mortgage, and we celebrated with a bottle of champagne. Although it is a milestone, long anticipated and very welcome, it is also a reminder of approaching old age.

The picture isn't good technically, but in this case the low resolution and noise had an effect I like.
