Won't you join the dance?

Back Blip
Heritage Day at Lytham Hall so we went for a look around.  It wasn't open to the public when I lived at home, so it was a fine chance.  A fascinating old building with a wonderful family history attached to it.  Very interest to have a wander round, and as a bonus there was dancing too.  A group called Regency Rejigged were performing, dancers and musicians, and members of the public were encouraged to join in.  Mike needed no second bidding!  It was lovely, gentle and elegant - straight out of Jane Austen!

Coffee and cake in the excellent cafe, then a wander round the huge grounds with Ollie before meeting up with the rest of the family, plus another cousin, husband and son, for another meal!  Poor baby Lucas - it was all too much for him.  It was verging on too much for some of the rest of us, but crying at our age is somewhat less acceptable!

Joking apart, it was sad to say good bye to everyone - goodness knows when we will meet up again.
