Lunar underwing

This is an especially well marked Lunar underwing Omphaloscelis lunosa, a very variable species which ranges in colour from yellowish to dark grey / brown, with the darker specimens showing contrasting pale veins and lines giving a 'netted' appearence.
It is quite common here in the south, but gets more local in the north.
